Even though we did well against him in Arizona this year, he came into Shea and showed off his talents. 8 innings where he was untouchable. Allowed just 4 hits, walked only 1, and struck out 8. Sounds about right.
Our only run was the result of B team members David Newhan and Ruben Gotay. Fantastic. Why can’t they do anything when we need them?
I missed this game, and GOOD THING TOO, since I had a birthday party to attend. My friend Greg’s. Gregapolooza was a fun time indeed, and helped me forget the Mets were sucking at the same time.
